The world Over and Around...........

Some days back i had the pleasure to follow a mathematical literature teeming with some stupendous stuff about fractal designs. A truly awe inspiring one about self replicating structures which inspired me to peep in the daily proceedings. We as humans have been trying to look beyond and further. But isn't it a much debated question about over follies and flimsy fixtures? What we are entitled to is big yet unheeded matter. Take the example of a machine and its working. All the parts and the its SUBs work and grid away. Quite in the blissful oblivion of the bigger picture and purpose. Yet they carry on and on...This is us. God made us but with fenced playgrounds. We can only see,sip and savor what has been Given. Making is not our bit. Taking goes well!!! In many so called sci-fi movies we see people imaging things and ultra-realistic cameos. Ah there we are, a simple logical bit, how come he imagine something what he has never seen, heard or thought before....point driven back is that its impossible to recreate something of this sort... We are like a caged squirrel...Chirping away we jump here and there, ech time jumping there only yet thinking that i am running straight and severe. That is real us. Meet US, the real one.

LOOKING FOR MIRACLES.......

Lets start from the scratch. You are always surrounded by the miracles. Only thing is, you need to look in the right manner. 1+1 make 2. Who told you that?? your peers. Then who told them? their peers. Well when did it start from? It is just a kind of convention. Right on the nail head. So it means you could as well bound out of your bed one morning and shout"Eureka!!! I have proved 1+1 make 4". I wouldn't scoff at you. OK Its just a new convention you are using. One more question," What makes our heart beat?" Medical students will be raring to go on about all the biology thing. Yeah all the pump analogy, Valves, pressure etc. But at the bottom of all this is newton's physics!! His great laws of motion. Assuming they are true to the end, we rest assured that everything to this date has been explained. But just imagine, lets say, tomorrow some great brainy guy comes with a clever little theory of his own, all our perceptions would topple head our heels. So what keeps us going?? Faith, strong belief. So all the theories we are playing at and living with are just some assumption-based and nothing else.Whew, what a spiritual view! But nonetheless correct. Same is for language. I mean i have heard people stressing on one language particularly! That is sad! Really, our insight couldn't get narrower. I mean a language is "just one set of symbols meant to effectively communicate our thoughts" and as long as you are able to do it in any other language, its ok. English is the more preferred one as long as you are trying to reach to the global community. But on a local basis any local one should do.
Cutting back to the present,i was talking about faith. Faith accomplishes miracles.
So, where do i need to look for miracles? Everywhere and anywhere. Yeah literally. You see a pen in front of you, that is a miracle. Planes stay up in the sky. That is not science but a miracle. Yeah its not that science keep them up. Nah, its the other way round, they keep up and to explain it, we assumed certain axioms and explained everything on their basis. We called our reasoning as science. So its faith all over again. Yeah same holds true for every other thing. We do not know what is actually and why. What we see is because we believe it should be so. and that's all. Change your belief, your assumptions, your angle of perception, and lo! behold apples will begin to rise up, earth will go flat, man will get younger by time, etc. Just anything can happen..But your faith needs to be strong enough.Yeah, our fertile minds have been ploughed upon by those around usin such a way, instilling ideas in our minds about everything that its difficult to change those concepts at this juncture. But if changed they will work wonders. A big question,Why then i m stressing on miracles when i my self have dubbed it as very difficult to believe that the thing in front of you may not actually be there? Because there are many things around you that yet have not been explained. That needs all the faith and hope you can muster. Time to go back a bit, believe in magic, think laterally, you can't eliminate what hasn't yet happened. There are things that man has not been able to apply his shortsighted thinking to. Pull back your sleeves, get to work, keep your eyes and brain as open as you can. And there will be a miracle.(Because that hasn't yet happened.)The universe is calling you to shed all misconceptions about it. Actually we don't know the truth. But just anything can happen. So my dear friends, don't go looking for miracles on high hilltops, or spooky forests or haunted mansions or so called pious places. Nah they are very much around you, waiting for you to come and transform them from miracles to common day-to-day phenomena. The next time you set about your work, remember that a piece of stone in front of you, A fly harassing you, A horrid boss of yours or even a close friend of yours might simply be the greatest miracle in the world...

THEORY OF EVERYTHING!!

Yeah, you got it right!! Theory of everything, this phrase has been quite in vogue especially for modern day physicists. Newton gave us the classical theory of mechanics, which at that time was a great breakthrough but now it has just remained a chapter or two in primary school texts. Why? But it was incompetent to explain some the phenomena at the quantum level. No doubt it is something of a base but it is only the base. We need to build on it. So Einstein came and gave us the seemingly complex yet unavoidable theory of relativity. But it was so relative that his successors couldn't relate to some of the loop holes. Then came the string theory and super-string one. Wah Wah!! but still physicists are not able to bind everything into one.A theory for all is what the scientists are literally running after. ANd why not? A single theory can explain all. May it be why earth is round to why we all have our hearts continually beating away ?
And that's where Miracles come in picture. Faith does not need miracles but it accomplishes them. AT this juncture i would like to quote a great man:
"You would never grow old by keeping the ability to see the beauty.
The non-existent is what we have not sufficiently desired.
But by sufficiently believing in it, we create them."

What it points to is that whatever is existent, we believe in it. And what doesn't exist is what we have not sufficiently desired.
So it all boils down to the same thing. Hope, have faith, wish and dream . And believe me You will get to know the unknown, see the unseen and above all you will get a blissful life.
People will say a thousand things. You will get preachers more but doers less. Faith, hope, miracles etc are highly sophisticated words to talk about, write about. You may get number of articles on this topic. (including mine)
But Experience is the best teacher. So instead of"shouting miracles from the roof-top" i will bring Stories, Real-life dramas about miracles to strengthen your BELIEF IN MIRACLES.

WHY MIRACLES?

A well known saying goes thus" Doubters invert the metaphor and say that you need faith as large as a mountain to move a mustard seed." What it goes to show that we do have agnostics and atheists. There only problem is their lack of faith in themselves, god and in almost everything. But faith does seem to accomplish a lot many things(MIRACLES). Last night when i was passing by, i overheard a group of some atheists moaning about how god is unfair. I was appalled at their attitude. With people of this kind of mindset, India would hardly need an enemy. The world is yours, you its managing director and god is its owner. You have got to decide what you want to do with it. Take a call and start right away. You will get grumblers whining away at the plight of the society. But we need doers who act. Thinkers are already there. And for this we need faith. Believe in your self. Hope that what you are doing is right, god is with you all the way, and getting you out of tight spots. I have a very good example of this. I have got a very close friend, Prashant. We were preparing for JEE exam. And I always used to moan, 'Gawd how in the name of heavens will we make it to the IITs? when about 2 lakh students are going for it? What chance would we have of making it to the iits? We didn't even go for coaching classes. But Prashant always used to counsel me " Always say' I will make it'. And why can't i? I am preparing for it sincerely. " He told me to have faith in whatever I am doing no matter how big and far fetched my actions or plans may sound. And today he is enjoying his life at IIT POWAI. Thats it, dream big and act on it. Had I got this high dose of optimism a bit earlier, I would have been with him today. But for my negative approach, I could only get AIR 3100. Could not get into a good iit!! See what a price I had to pay for my disparaging mentality. That has gone by now but the repercussions linger. Cut to you, harbor faith and expect miracles.

MIRACLES

Well, talking about miracles, I would like to drive home one point that, since ages, it has been a kind of convention that man has tried to dub all those unexplainable, unfathomable phenomena as miracles. I mean its a kind of tradition or rather a convention that what we can't explain, is a miracle. But one must keep in mind that miracles are one of the most logical things in the universe. So anything illogical is not necessarily a miracle. As to that nothing in this world is illogical and hence everything is a miracle. Because logic is a man's work. It has got nothing to do with miracles. Its just a step-by-step reasoning process to explain certain things. But for that you always have to assume a base or Axioms(maths students will have a lot to say on this!!). Albeit for a good reasoning we need to have a good starting point( a base). This is the perhaps tricky part, rest will be a mere cakewalk. And this goes to show that if possible to get right starting point, the right base, then one day the mysteries will be open to man, every question starting from why to how, which to when will be answered and that will be the end but end is the only beginning to a new end. So my point is it, all starts with faith and ends in belief. Again we all are alive just because of belief. We do not know how the heart in our bodies goes on beating away continually, yet it goes on, we don't go on troubling whether it beat next or not. WHY? FAITH,BELIEF!! That drives us through this seemingly complex and impossible tangled world of materialism. THATS Why I AM STRESSING ON MIRACLES?

WORLD'S GREATEST COMEBACKS

"World's greatest comebacks" by ROBERT SCHULLER is a great book especially for those who have witnessed some of the worst setbacks. A great reading for those who feel as if there is nothing worth living in this world and dying is the only respite from this despair and gloomy feeling. Well a word of counsel, there is a way out this, MIRACLES. That's what has been portrayed in this great book. Some of the world's greatest comebacks. And believe me reading it, you might just feel as if nothing can go wrong and if it goes then also it has to get right!!! What a positive feeling! You just can't help feeling optimistic. The fact this book highlights the importance of MIRACLES brings us to the discussion of WHAT ARE MIRACLES?
